Losing Focus / How I evaluated 10 ideas in one month

In my last post, I said that I am going to start looking into all the ideas that I had. Many of those are gone now and I started to focus, it was a learning curve:

What happened, I created 10 pages for 10 ideas in a month. When I say pages, I mean WordPress blogs. Each site had a bit of content in order to evaluate how much traffic I will receive on it. When I say a bit of content, I mean roughly 100 articles each. The content was automatically generated. I let them all rank for a couple of words and saw where I had personally the most interest in and most users would come back. Mostly through SEO.

This allowed me to scrap 8 of those ideas. They did not get any traction in the first place. Now I have 2..mind you there is more that flows through my mind. I have also stopped a Youtube channel in the same period by now, due to low traction. I realize that I do like some projects but now all on the same level.

I will evaluate if I can get those two projects into making the first Adsense revenue. Both are blogs, the content on them can be either monetized or be hidden behind a paywall. There is still one page that I liked within those 10 that I would love to try again from a different angle. I needed to take it down because of a copyright dispute but I can tell that the audience there is interesting. Small but growing, clearly focused around one topic.

I probably will also try to do my first NFT project. Just to try it out and see how that goes. You can tell I have the shiny object syndrome. If anyone has a cure, please let me know.

I will update you on the next projects that come through my mind!
