This month was half last month's side project earnings. Here's are summary of things that were different about this month:
- didn't do much promotion (no new blog posts, videos, etc)
- fixed a couple SEO issues
- focused on other projects (Twitter Stripe MRR, TypeScript course)
Here's a breakdown of my side income:
- $100.00 from Product/Tool Feedback
- $181.79 from @egghead-io royalties
- $756.00 from Vim for VSCode course sales (before fees)
- $500.00 UI.dev talk
- $75.00 GitHub user study
Total: $1,612.79
Total (year-to-date): $5,467.58

Thanks for sharing. What is hidden under position "GitHub user study"?
Nothing hidden! I can't remember where I signed up, but someone from GitHub reached out to have me do a user study about a redesign of current feature and they paid me $75 for it.
You're doing well as long as it's a higher low.
Nothing just goes straight up.
Don't give up!
I won't! Thanks, Alex!
