Mentorship is the ultimate form of leverage

I wish I knew this earlier, I really wish!

Mentorship is the ultimate form of leverage.

I've seen it worked for me a couple of times in my career, and the results have been incredible.

Especially when learning a new skill, or starting a new career path, instead of wasting time on trial and error, look for a mentor in that field and learn from them.

It saves you a lot of time and brings in faster results.

Although it might be a bit difficult to get someone that'll be willing to mentor you, it can't be compared to the stress and depression that comes with trial and error.

Smart work is the name of the game, seek smart predictive shortcuts to getting faster results. No one celebrates efforts, they only celebrate results.

To the newbie in a new industry.

To the professional that switched careers.

To the curious mind seeking to explore a new interest.

Here's the secret of the ages - MENTORSHIP.

Success!

  1. 1

I think people are well aware of the general idea that mentorship and guidance beats solo learning with no clear direction. But the problem is that everybody wants to be mentored, but (almost) nobody wants to mentor. How would one go to meet/find somebody willing to put in their free time to mentor somebody without getting anything in return?
