Requirements
Whether you have years of experience at SAP or a A+ recommendation from another big company doesn‘t matter. More important is that you can adapt quickly to new situations and see challenges as opportunities. As a Full Stack developer you should be able to manage Frontend, Backend and DevOps self-initiated.

Who we are
Modoplus was founded in early 2021 in Hamburg. The founders graduated from renowned universities like University College London and EBS Business School and are experts in their fields of architecture, construction, urban design and real estate development. They have worked for most respected companies in Japan, Switzerland and Germany and have already gained entrepreneurial experience.

Challenge #1
The first challenge for you is to build a map-based webapp with a few functions within 7 days. This gives both – you and us – the chance to get to know each other better. And to find out if our skills as a team are complementary. At the end of the challenge we will discuss as whether we want to collaborate further and plan the next steps. The next goal is to implement an alpha version of Modoplus as a team within three months. And: YES of course you are already getting paid.

Technical prerequisites
We work with geo-information that is interpreted and visualised in a cloud-based infrastructure. To build our tool we are looking for a Fullstack Developer with ideally a solid knowledge of Python (and a Python framework), NodeJS, APIs and a JavaScript based frontend framework like (ReactJS or Vue.js).

You get a lot of responsibility and freedom as one of the core members of our company. Your chance is to shape the tech-stack and the product fundamentally from the very start. We have a nice office location near the Elbe, you get equipment and everything else you need (drinks,fruits etc.). Working remotely is definitely possible but especially in the beginning it will be necessary that you are physically in the office more often (i.e. at least 2 weeks per month).
