Moving from B2C to B2B? Advice needed

Some context.

A few months ago we launched Product HQ. We've had some success with great feedback from users but sales have been slow.

We always thought it would be a great tool for schools (and their students) but initially only shipped B2C.

We're now pivoting and looking to reach out to schools to see if they'd be interested in taking on a license for the product. To make this shift to B2B easier we've:

  • Setup a sales pipeline to track deals
  • Targetted schools based on the school persona we set (business, entrepreneur school etc)
  • Created an engaging cold email

Not really sure what else we need to address. We've already done a demo with one school that said it looked great but not the right fit for them. We're happy to get on the phone with as many schools as needed but also don't want to waste hours with dead leads. Catch 22?

Anyone willing to share ideas/advice/past experience would be greatly appreciated!
