I just launched https://donel.ist a week ago, and today I saw that the one big existing done list app -- IDoneThis -- got a major feature story written about them in Wired: https://www.wired.com/story/to-do-apps-failed-productivity-tools/. This feels like a moment I should be able to grab onto and share some of the traffic, even though I'm obviously not name-checked in the article. Other than participating in the HN discussion (which I'd have done anyway, because obviously I'm sort of interested in productivity apps!) what can I do to try to ride this (vicarious) wave?
Help me out, fellow IHers!
Contact the author and ask her to make an edit to include you - even if they do it wont do much, worse though is just bombing comment sections of the article saying "mine does that too". Sometimes its just too late BUT Wired is pretty niche compared to the market for productivity apps so dont get too down about it.
Are there threads about this on Twitter? Replying there will have more reach than on IH...
