My growth. 1 week. 109 subscribers later.
So this time last week I was prepping my newsletter to go out the next day, and my first issue was going out to 31 subscribers.
Tomorrow my second issue of theslice.co is going out 140 subscribers!! Which is actually crazy, and I don’t really know if that a lot of growth or not as I’m still new and I’m just learning as I go along, but I really didn’t expect to get 109 more subscribers in the space of a week.
I’m just super stoked and happy that I got there, so I thought I’d just share! 🙏🏻

Congrats! What have you been doing for growing your mailing list?
I literally just made a few posts in a few subreddits that I’m very active on and a few post on here.
I also did a lot of outreach to other creators as I feature products on my newsletter, and because those creators are featured on my newsletter, they retweet and share quite a bit on twitter.
Impressive results! And good advice, to reach out to people. I'll start doing that for my newsletter!

Regarding the growth - it depends, but I think that's a really good number and shows there's def interest in such emails. I also have a small newsletter in a very small niche, and my path to the first 100 subscribers was really fast but later it slowed down considerably which actually gives me room for experiments and finding the best format.
