My HN clone about renewables: It was easier than expected and costs only $3/mo

I just started my own Hacker News clone. I'm really surprised there isn't that many of them. It is called energiewende.io (German term for energy transition) and is focused on renewables, energy transition and related topics. I guess it will take some time to see if this HN-renewables combo will resonate with others. I also put that on PH too (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/energiewende-io). What do you think about cloning HN?
Here is what I did: https://tomas789.medium.com/how-i-started-a-hacker-news-clone-in-a-weekend-for-3-mo-9acf3cd81491

FYI. It says it's about Python in the footer.

I do think these kind of websites are useful, though at the same time it would be nice to stamp a bit of your own design on it and also be prepared to fill it up with lots of content, constantly until it gains it's own traction.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll rewrite that.

I plan to change at least the color schema and few minor things here and there. I wanted to get it out of the door as soon as possible and iterate on the concept as I have more time.

I was thinking about just dumping some articles in there and backdating them. The reason I didn't go with that is that because I don't want to pollute with medium-quality content. I'm prepared to just add content as I discover it and find it high-enough quality. Hopefully the "quality above quantity" will pay off.
