My side project 1st birthday, yeah! Now what?

A year ago today, I remember that I didn’t have enough freelance work to sustain my living during the peak of pandemic, so I started a side project that gives me the freedom to create the designs I love and use them to help other people. I created a few sets of mobile app UI kits in Sketch, and then built a website to sell it. I was curious if anyone would buy them, but surprisingly I got few sales in the first month. Yeah! I felt great and pumped! I didn’t expect to have customers so quickly, it’s definitely a huge encouragement for me.

A year later, I’ve created 16 different types of mobile app UI kits with more than 800 app screens, and I am grateful that there are hundreds of entrepreneurs, designers & design students who used the UI kits I created for their startup product, client project or simply a UI/UX design portfolio.

For me, Interface Market isn’t just a website, it’s a place where I can share my design work with someone who appreciated it and find it useful as well.

I am excited to see where it goes. Have you started any project that makes you feel excited yet?
