My super-simple landing page for my super-simple tool. Any feedback?

Hah, I built the same thing a while ago, but I didn't stick long enough to see if it would work. I'm happy to share my designs with you if you'd like (might be some interesting ideas there).
I'm super curious if you'll get it to perform.

As for the landing page feedback

    • It's clear and easy to understand but visually unattractive. Playing to the theme of the real, tangible letter sending might make it much more appealing - nostalgia/retro vibes.
    • Including some basic text formatting could make the experience of writing more attractive - the aesthetic of writing a physical letter is an important aspect here.
    • I suggest either mimicking the postcard layout with the content on the left and from/to information on the right or just splitting the whole thing in 2 separate steps - 1.write the letter, 2.Fill in the from/to and payment info.
    • maybe provide a sample image of how the actual letter will look in the end (in you FAQ area).

In summary - I'm assuming this product is not much of a utility, and the main audience would be people with nostalgia who just want to have fun with it - so it comes down to making a nice experience for that use-case.

    Hope this helps,
    Cheers

Thanks for this great feedback! If you wouldn't mind sharing the designs, I'd appreciate it.

All of this makes sense. Especially the point about two steps. But IMO, having the address forms on a second step means I lose the explanatory value of having them right here on this page -- seeing the title, slogan, "page" and address box all on the same page communicates, IMO, what this is without having to use too many words.

Mimicking a postcard style was actually my first layout here, so I'll reconsider that, too.

For sure, I just found the files (it was quite a while ago) - I was playing on the old era computer theme - to draw the analog/digital nostalgia theme. :D
        Where should I send it?

    Using a mobile:

It asks for my location, why?
I don't know your site so qhy would i trust it?

Don't give a reason to leave the site..

Also it doesn't site well on mobiles, too spaced out. IMO.

    Good luck!

Thanks. I worked on the mobile spacing just now. Any better?

And I see what you're saying about the location. I'll see what I can do here.

I just had a look at it and.. I absolutely love it ! Would be great if you can track the letter to see when its shipped and when it actually arrives but anyway, looks awesome ! I'm In France but if it was available in my country I'd use it.

On a purely UX/UI perpective: nothing to add, its straight to the point, we understand what the product is about in less than a second. Pleasant to navigate and seems easy as hell to use. Good luck

Thanks! Yes, a tracker would be great, but I'm a ways away from being able to do that right now. But it's on my list!
