Need advice for long term contract
Have an opportunity for an annual contract, but I'm unsure of what clauses are absolutely essential.
Couple things I could think of so far is mentioning sick leaves / general leaves.
But apart from that I would welcome any advice on other things I should have in the contract.

Here are some points to consider:
Who owns the intellectual property rights of your work (your employer usually does).
Whether you can write about the work you do and include it in your portfolio.
When you're expected to invoice the employer (if required).
When you expect to be paid.
Whether the work must be done on-site or remotely.
How soon you're expected to respond to emails.
What mode of communication you can commit to for support etc, e.g. email, chat or phone.
Those are just some general ones, but have a think about what your typical day would look like or how you'd like it to be, and check whether they're ok with what you are expecting.
