Need Help Validating Website/Content Aggregator Idea

Just a thought at the moment but I am in the architecture field and for some reason it's hard to find content or resources when I need them.

The idea would be essentially an online "publication" where people either submit to or their content is aggregated onto the site based on certain keywords. Not everyone posts their content to Reddit or LinkedIn or Instagram but this application would make this content accessible and viewable from one single source. I understand this can easily be done as a blog where I find and repost the content but I'd like for it to somehow be automated.

This can be applied to anything really but any advice on how to get started or info of something that already exists would be helpful!

    Dear Joseph,

As I'm not in the architecture field, I can't fully grasp the problem you're trying to tackle. I think it's important to choose first if you want this to be a hobby project or if you have the ambition to turn it into a business.

In case of the latter, here's my advice:
It's incredibly important to validate your idea first before diving into developing it. So many engineering/designer hours have been wasted on products nobody wants. I'm launching a service to coach people during the validation phase so that you have an idea to confidently develop.

If you're interested check it out: https://validator.phalox.be/?pk_campaign=ih_posts&pk_source=josephech. I'm looking for a couple of alpha testers who would love to participate.

    Good luck!

Phalox, thanks for the feedback! The problem I'm having is that when it comes to architecture content, some people are on instagram, few people are on youtube, and fewer people have blogs. I think there could be a way to aggregate all of this content around architecture and help these creators get more exposure through one website that houses all things created by people about architecture. Essentially an indiehackers for architecture but through a more visual and web magazine approach.

Following up on Validator, I'd love to test it out and help you in any way I can.

That's pretty neat! I'm just getting started with notion for some internal wiki sheets but love the idea of using a tool like that to build simple pages. Love it!

Thanks! I've dabbled with Notion a bit but still trying to make it work for me. If this idea does move forward I'll let you know!
