Here's why we're publishing "yet another podcast":
There's a perception that startups are mostly for recent college grads and silicon valley types... yet we hear more and more about people like us (especially here on IndieHackers), who are bootstrapping while also raising families, and usually also working a full-time job. We want to share more about that.
Technically, we're competitors, but we think there's room for collaboration, fun, and information sharing even among people competing within the same niche.
Our goal is financial and location independence, but not at the expense of our families, our kids' happiness, or our relationships. It's HARD to build a bootstrapped business, and we know we're not alone.
Making sure our families remain our top priority doesn't mean we won't work hard and hustle in order to get things off the ground. In this podcast, you'll be able to follow our progress and help us with accountability.
We believe that you can bootstrap a successful SaaS, Freelance, or Indie business while still enjoying the family life. We want to share our learnings as we build our businesses from scratch.
We want to keep it fun and entertaining as well. Hopefully our "dad jokes" don't get too bad 😅
If this resonates with you (wherever you are in your Indie journey, and whether or not you have a young family at the moment), please listen, subscribe, and help us spread the word!
We're on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, PocketCasts, etc.
Even YouTube, for those of you who would prefer to watch instead of listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxjAj22J27w
And we absolutely would love your feedback. We'd love to know 1) what you think, 2) what we can improve, and 3) what questions you have or things we should discuss.
