Niche or no niche for your blog?

What do you guys do for your blog?

I've thought about starting a blog for a long time but never pulled the trigger, mostly because I couldn't figure out a niche to focus on.

I finally launched my blog recently by focusing and sharing my experiences. Just wrote a new article about how I thought about it, and would also love to hear what you guys think about this question!

Also curious about bloggers who started off without a niche and developed one later on. How did you go about it?

I think your argument was right on. I found that the niches I've fallen into always came about naturally - just a byproduct of consistent production and letting the momentum carry forward. It's a process I break down more fully here: https://ghost.org/blog/find-your-niche-creator-economy/
