No-Code Bootcamps with Bubble

Hey everyone!

Erik here, Startup Evangelist at Bubble and Camp Director at our No-Code Bootcamps.

I wanted to drop in and give an update on the No-Code bootcamps that we've been running these last two months. Just for reference, each class of no more than 8 students, spending 8 weeks with a Bubble instructor, taking an idea and building a No-Code MVP around it. We cover everything from a crash course on Bubble to the basics of UX/UI, and launching your App.

Now that we've been running for two months and have over 100 students either finishing or in the bootcamps, I have a few lessons to share with anyone looking to join:

1: You get what you put in- Every session comes with some incredible leanings and some post-session assignments. The more work you do applying these lessons to your app while completing your assignments the quicker you'll grow as a maker and the sooner you can iterate on your product.

2: The community will help you build- We have a private online community just for Bootcampers and the instructors. I can't stress enough how much getting that feedback and interaction with your fellow makers will help you grow and build. I find that especially now, when everyone is feeling particularly isolated, that having others to share the experience with is one of the best ways to stay motivated and enjoy your experience.

3: Show off your product early and often- Getting that feedback and iterating on it over and over again, showcases the true power of No-Code tools and helps you refine your idea for launch. With Bubble you have the ability to update and change your product as speeds previously unattainable. Take advantage of it! You have a group of people to guide you and you'll be getting early users before you know it. Leverage those folks to refine and build your product. I know for many there is a bit of fear to showcasing you work, and a bit of trepidation to putting yourself out there. But there is not better time and no better place than in the company of those who are all going through exactly the same thing. Make the most of your time and ship it soon and ship it often!

As out first graduates begin to launch their products and gather feedback on their MVPs, I couldn't be more excited for them. If anyone want's to join them, or has questions about what we are doing over at Bubble, feel free to reach out here or on twitter- @erikisrani.
