    A variation to this is to offer only yearly in the beginning so you can know the customers that are really interested in your product and also so you can work with them to improve the product to make it much better before thinking of offering monthly plans. This is a strategy to make your startup customer-funded and have a sustainable long-term business and focus on the mostnimportant parts of the business instead of worrying about monthly churn.
