Open-source project on IH?

Hi everybody,

I'm currently working on a tool that creates simple, but pretty photo galleries with which you tell a story. I launched it as an open-source project end of February. I'm not sure if IH is the right place for such a project, but I would still like to get some feedback from you guys...

The tool is currently not very user-friendly and is meant more for developers, but if there is interest, I can imagine building a product on top of the open-source tech so that it can be used by anyone...

Hi, just looking through your demo, but is it just a lightbox plugin?
Or what makes it exactly different?

I'm a developer, but I don't really know how it benefits me?

OK, it seems that my explanation is crappy (the curse of knowledge...). The demo gallery is nothing special in itself - as you say it is more or less PhotoSwipe...

I think the interesting thing about the tool is that it enables you to generate galleries like that in seconds - you need the photos and then the tool will extract the photo descriptions, create the thumbnails and generate the HTML for you. It can also automatically deploy the gallery for you on Netlify or AWS S3.

I made the tool in order to automate the process of going from a bunch of photos to a gallery.
