Over 200 visitors since launch

I launched my first SaaS product this week and I’m beyond excited that I have over 200 visitors so far.

The product is very specialized: www.emitter.dev, focusing on a developer crowd. I don’t expect it to have mass appeal, but I’m hoping for a small and loyal user base.

I’m curious what methods you guys have used to draw traffic for your products?

Thanks!

    Hi Shamoons,

First of all, congrats on the launch and getting such a great response! I'm in the similar boat so I share the excitement. I just visited your site and I was a little confused. Perhaps I missed something? If someone is using LAMBDA already in the AWS environment, couldn't they just use the AWS Websockets API? Am I missing something here? I'm just curious if you can explain the use case where this can come in handy. I'm always interested in products that make my life easier. Less things I have to manage, the better I can pay attention to my CUSTOMERS and their needs :)

Regardless, I agree with your approach. It's good to niche down with your product and be great at doing ONE thing really well then trying to be everything to everyone. If you try to sell to everyone, you end up selling to no one :) We're pretty much going with the same strategy ourselves

Congrats on the visits, that's great. For organic traffic you could release some youtube videos, a blog is always great if SEO optimized, you could go to forums and find people that have the problem you are trying to fix. There are many ways... but essentially find out where your customers are online and offline, and try and help them.
