Overcoming the limitation of forums with video rooms

Hey IH,

Joan here, co-founder of PeerPull. Over the course of one-year developing products, forums have been of great help to get advice and answer my questions. Nevertheless, the "response rate" has always been single-digit.

There has to be a better way so we are bringing audio/video rooms with topics around entrepreneurship. Think of it as an add-on for IH where you could get answers without idle time wait.

We are starting with oriented topics and weekly rooms to concentrate the demand and extract the value from each other as early-users.

Other things in our pipeline:

User reputation based on the different collaboration
Follow other users to attend the same rooms and interact
Create your own room (free schedule and topic)

- Your missing a lot of languages I think...
- Profile inputs boxes on half width screen have display issues... like hint texts outside of box for uni...
- "Your interests" it's kinda weird mix of select box and Tagging... but can't add stuff?...
- Products/Describe it in a few words - the emoji icon goes over the written text..
- Profile Completeness: 45%, your not telling me what's next, what am I missing, no guild to fill it..
- Peers have '- null'.. "Discover Peers" Consider sorting it by people with full details, like an image + text...
- How about customising the time zone for me to reduce my need to think about it? let me put it in the profile with nice to have default based on location auto detect.
- I don't get the homepage UX... "Introducing Virtual chats" with green new, and animations on clicks but does nothing...
- Meetings attended 0, why are you telling my I'm a failure when I just joined?
- "Book the next.." like you want to emphasis it but put it in the colour of the top background near it?
- Feedback button doesn't work, just animates

  Thank you for the feedback! I have fixed most of the comments you mention. I am curious, do you reckon it would be of good use to you to be able to talk with other entrepreneurs? In what conditions or circumstances would you attend such a meeting?

    Personally I might need to be pushed/made super easy for..
    Rather be 1-3 other people.
    Relevant hours for me.
    Have a focus topic upfront, even if it's someone else's thing... Or some detailed schedule...
    Know some things about the other people.
    
    I am not attracted to a super generic here is a single meeting with 47+ people.

        Wow, these look way better...
        Why does it say my profile is 85% complete there and in my page profile 45%? (is that just hardcoded?..)

        Should still give an indication for timezone... (so I can be reassured it IS my TZ..)
        
        So for 2AM, 2:00 how about pretending the 0, to 02:00, just to align all the list of times... (or align the time right in it's own CSS box... looking at other dates, better make time align on it's own.. this is to help me visually filter out times that I just won't...)
        
        People's images should be clickable and link back to their profiles... or just bulk link down the page, I didn't scroll originally it's far down.. I like the specific blurbs
        
        So the meeting blurbs is just the public info? would you want to get people to write a customised one for the session? could ask for it after I join....
        
        Seriously love the upgrade on the meeting, it gives depth and meaning

Generally saying, some of the reasons why many posts have single digit responses:
1. There are so many posts a day here it's crazy.
2. The platform is a bit of social ranking, get votes and you get more views.
3. At times I'd say, he had responses, I'll go look at something else (especially around the "Ideas and Validation")
Don't forget most platforms have at least 10x lurkers/readers that never or very seldomly write
