I'm looking for a payment processor (e.g. stripe, paypal, etc.) but that make it worthwhile for micro-transactions of $1. These services all seem to take a fixed 25-30 cents which make this prohibitive. Does such thing exist that's not crypto? :)
I honestly think you might be talking about a Crypto Currency micro payment solution.
That's supposed to be the benefit of things like NANO, supposedly, but the problem is that converting traditional currency is not a totally smooth process, yet.
Another way to go would be just having a portal for some kind of SAAS billing, which accrues micro transactions within the account balance, and then bills the client over a certain threshold.
That's basically what the popular cloud services do, like AWS, GCP, and Azure, etc.
It can integrate with a ton of different billing solutions.
So, just looking at their integrations list might set you on the right track, and give you some good ideas.
I personally use Stripe, and love it, but you might find something to your liking, there.
It's probably easy to simply charge a subscription of some kind, though.
The common payment methods are common, because they're easy to manage.
So, if you adjust your model, you'll probably have an easier time, but... I definitely get how this is.

Another thing you might look at is ChargeDesk:

Pricing a service, in particular, can take years.
