Pivoting an Idea? from full product to side project.

Hi !

I spend time trying to put in place a project of eCommerce for craft beers in France. Sadly I will not be able to pursue this project for various reasons one being the time.

Yet I planned on pivoting it as a side project just for managing your cellar/fridge when you have a little bit too many beers ;) like me! So same target audience but wider because now without any physical product I can reach not only France but everywhere.

Do you think it is a good idea?

Side projects are much more fun than failed products. It's good to limit expectations and also focus your attention. Instead of focusing on generating profits, focus on generating systems that help you quicker, and then profit.

Thanks - I'm trying to switch my mind exactly to that... It is not easy for me but I try to think smaller.
