Post your landing page and let others describe what your company does!

Does your landing page describe your project well?

  1. Visit someone else's landing page for 10 seconds, then come back and tell them what you think their product does.
  2. Link to your own landing page, but don't say anything about it.
    1. 3

As a former UI designer, I have to say your team did a great job.

Love the colors and the whole hierarchy of the components is ordered in a really great way. Love it!

      1. 2

the whole landing page is designed and planned by my brother @Timo give him a follow! https://twitter.com/timolins

    2. 3

      Very clean and clear!😍
      Honey spoon is amazing 😅😅

    3. 2

WOW. Your landing page is clear + concise. Well done! 😍

    4. 2

I like your landing page, looks elegant. You seem to be doing web analytics

    5. 2

Only browsed for 10 secs as requested and my guess is, a web analytics tool?

    6. 2

Looks like a fun cross between Google Analytics and Hotjar :)

    7. 2

It’s a web analytics tool, well designed landing :)

    8. 2

Analytics I wouldn't afraid to use.

The website transmits "comfy", very good argument for the "pain" that comes to my head when I think "analytics".

      Good job!

      1. 1

amazing to hear! thank you :)

    9. 2

Google Analytics basically with a better UI? (10 seconds spent)

    10. 2

I definitely agree with everyone it's super beautiful, clean and succinct A/B testing tool 😍 If you don't mind me asking - what did you build it with?

      More advanced Google Analytics

      1. 2

more advanced will be hard! less but focus on UX and product analytics aswell

    12. 2

      Web analytics tool like Hotjar

    13. 2

Great landing page. Your product provides your customers tools to understand how their users interact with their site from a user journey perspective. Your value proposition seems to be that you offer an intuitive dashboard that requires very little in terms of integration making it attractive to non-tech customers.

    14. 2

A website analytics tool! Love the A/B testing feature. And the Docs in Notion!! I had never thought of using Notion in this fashion, pretty neat.

      1. 1

        glad you like it! :)
yes - also the blog is powered by Notion as CMS

A pop up blocker that doesn't take your data for chrome

with the constraint of the 10 sec, i could not help myself but wonder: why should i choose this instead of the much more popular ones?

unlimited design and website code for weekly recurring fee

      1. 1

Perfect. If I may ask, what's the first thing that comes to your mind when you recollect about Draftss without visiting the website it once again?

        1. 1

Honestly, the doodles on the background and the purple coloured pricing text.

    2. 2

Design and code services for a single recurring fee

      1. 1

Perfect. If I may ask, what's the best part that you liked about Draftss website?

    3. 2

One monthly fee for unlimited design and/or dev services.

      1. 1

        Perfect.

I am just curious that even though the primary pricing on the website is on weekly basis, you described it as monthly.

        1. 1

Ah yes, I missed that. I've seen a few different 'unlimited' services (design, copywriting etc.), and I've been conditioned to 'per month' pricing, so that's why I assumed initially. I see it's weekly now!

    4. 1

Graphic and website services. It appeared I could just pay for a week if needed instead of the monthly service fee.

    5. 1

Subscription-based design and code services. I don't get the Portfolio (NEW) link, why new?

    6. 1

A subscription for web design work

    7. 1

unlimited front end code and UI/UX designs!

      1. 1

        Perfect.

If I may ask further, what was the best thing that you liked about the website?

    8. 1

At first glance it is not clear what exactly Draftss is doing. Try to add below the price on main title something like "We provide a team of professional designers".
And the popup email is really annoying, why does this show up again after closing, when navigating to another page.

      1. 1

        Thanks for the valuable suggestion.

The popup email is an exit-intent popup. I shall check if there's some setting to make it stop once a person has closed it once.

      1. 1

Close enough. More appropriately designs & code as a service.

    9. 1

Unlimited design & code for a monthly fee

      1. 1

        Perfect.

I am just curious that even though the primary pricing on the website is on weekly basis, you described it as monthly.

    10. 1

An agency for design and app development?

This looks great - I actually launched Jumpjet to do practice interviews with frontend devs - I'm going to sign up for the trial and give intervue a go (I've used a mix of Zoom, Meet and Skype so far).

      1. 1

        @jacobedawson
Congratulations on your launch! Front-end gets me excited always. I'd like to connect offline as well with you if you can find sometime. Let me know!

A web application to receive feedback on website designs. This will be particularly helpful for freelancers and design agencies! Looks great!

    2. 1

Tagline: I would use "easier" rather than "fast" to get people hooked.

Font on the feedback in the hero section, it breaks the nice look of the rest of the website.

I would make it more evident, add curved rows, looking almost like corrections from by a school teacher, to drive people's attention so they understand the concept faster and make it look fresher!

      1. 1

Thanks for the feedback! What do you mean by the font breaking the look? It could be because the SVGs are using a font-file which isn't rendering on your end.

I've fixed this in the most recent version here: https://imgur.com/a/pOdkHeX (not published live yet), so that is probably what you're seeing!

Thanks for the tips re. the arrows - will definitely experiment with that next :). Appreciate it!

I'm not sure if it's not completely clear because it's the pre-launch version without signup, but normally you would sign up to Bolt, then upload your URL or design file (JPG, PNG, SVG etc.), and we would generate a Bolt feedback board for you, e.g. usebolt.io/board/yourboard - you can share this board link with a client, team member etc., and they can click to leave feedback. This replaces email changes or Google docs for leaving feedback.

An example of the design board is in the top image on the homepage.

In the launch version, we'll have a 'demo' board, so that you can instantly see how it functions.

      Git review for technical assessments.

This is an interesting idea, as it something I have had to deal with in the past. We would have candidates either submit PR for their solutions or create a repo on their personal Github accounts. Usually, it would be public meaning other candidates could find each other's code. Think the approach you offer is much more practical.

    2. 1

Tried to limit to ten seconds. Value proposal very clear: Build websites faster, already in name which is awesome. How it happens; I'm guessing you offer templates, but then there was also something about not repeating, maybe that's another benefit of templates.

Site overall look clean and good. Didn't catch the pricing within 10 secs.

Copy seems great to me! Curious though, why do you keep writing 'a touch of NLP' instead of just 'NLP'? Since it's so in vogue rn, I don't see why you wouldn't just lean in and write NLP. Otherwise the copy and presentation lgtm!

A tool for bookmarks that organises sites and removes bookmarks to dead links.

    2. 2

A service for managing your bookmarks.

I don't use bookmarks but this looks good. I couldn't understand if there's a social feaeture -> like sharing collections of bookmarks to other people

      1. 2

        Spot on!

Making bookmarks public or shared with a select few is something that has come up often in the customer conversations, it's on the roadmap which I will make public shortly ;)

    1. 4

A tool to find emails... I'm not sure I understand. Is it I give a domain, a name and it gives me the email for the person from the person based on the email structure of the organisation? How does it work for popular domain providers like Gmail or others like Hey?

It'd be great if the landing page showed how to use the product and address some of the FAQs.

      1. 1

Yes! We help find email address for a domain and help find email address of a person using first name, last name & company name.
We cannot find emails associated gmail & Hey, etc :(

I am working on new features & a new landing page.
Here is a sneak peek of the landing page (Lots of lorem ipsum text)

A tool which helps me find emails and verify their accuracy. After reading your subhead, it looks like I input a domain, which gives me a list of verified emails associated with that domain?

        What do you think?

        1. 1

I like the updated design, but I don't think the copy is there yet, e.g. 'The all-in-one toolkit for growth, leads, data & outreach' - this H1 contains a lot of buzzwords without really saying what your product does, or helping me to understand the benefits.

Maybe try to rephrase it so that it's super simple - it looks like your product does more in the next version, so this is easier said than done!

          1. 1

Thanks! Yes working on integrating lots of new features rather than just email find/validation.
I'll work on the copy and try to make it simpler.

Sterki helps fitness coaches sell their services, plans & ebooks online

      1. 1

        interesting! sadly UK only

        1. 1

It's UK only for the coach subscriptions. Marketplace sales are available to a lot more countries!

    2. 2

Platform for online personal trainers to sell packages to their clients? Looks awesome :)

    3. 1

Offer coaching services, very clear. Does ti works all around the world or only for some countries?

      1. 1

Is it clear that it's a platform for coaches to use to for coaching online?

The only country restriction is for our 'Coach subscription' feature. Where a coach creates their own subscription plans for clients.

    4. 1

A marketplace for fitness trainers to sell their ebooks... That's an interesting one!

      1. 1

Selling ebooks / other digital products is just one part of it. I wonder if it isn't clear enough?

        1. 1

It says "Sell plans, ebooks, and other digital products" which is clear, but I don't know what plans and "digital products" are...

          1. 1

Fair points for 'plans' and 'digital products' not meaning much.

I'm curious about the focus on the product selling though. The idea of the site is that it's a platform for coaches to use as a tool for actually doing their coaching - and selling ebooks / workout plans on the marketplace is just one feature.

Maybe there is too many parts of the landing page talking about the marketplace?

      • Something that helps me with meditation (somehow)
      • Since it's apparently available for Mac, it would be cool if the download button said "Download for Mac". I expected a Windows/Android/iOS app first.
      1. 1

Thanks cirious. If you get the app on your Mac, let me know if you have any suggestions!

        1. 1
          • Confirming passwords is unnecessary when you can easily reset your password in one click via email
          • First name and last name seems a little much for a meditation app?

All of that being said, I'm not the type for meditation (might change at some point)

          1. 1

Good idea removing some of the forms. I agree with confirm password, we're rolling out a paywall soon so trying to make sure user info is secure. We may just add Google login.

        2. 1

          128mb smells like Electron ;)
It looks like you could make this a PWA instead to save bandwidth and prompt user to install the app in a single click when they're using Chrome. You could even rename the button to "Install in one click" or smth to emphasize the speed
EDIT: Nevermind won't work, forgot the screen overlay part

          1. 1

Your nose for software has not mislead you...are you an Electron fan?

            1. 1

Not quite. I used it in the past and it is good for what it's trying to accomplish, but I switched to Flutter for my cross platform needs. It's also soon^tm support desktop (windows/linux/mac). I think Flutter has the brighter future and I base that opinion on it being built from the ground up as a rendering engine instead of relying on Chromium. Kind of like a game engine, but for software, the internal design is genius.

              1. 1

Sounds interesting, I'll make sure to bring it up with my technical partners.

                1. 1

It's not that simple though. It's not like it's complex, but it's a lot different from developing traditional apps, since you essentially mix code with design. I doubt it would be a good business decision for your purposes but I might be wrong.

                  1. 1

For sure, well as a design guy I might check it out. Speaking of which, what do you think of the UI?

                    1. 1
                      • I don't like the blue focus borders. Accessibility is important, but it shouldn't ruin the design for everyone else
                      • logo is nice
                      • In general, it looks a bit hacked-together and inconsistent. It doesn't look like you used a design framework. I have had great experiences with MDCWeb, you might want to give it a shot. It could be overkill, but you can also use only specific components (app drawer) from it
                      • I don't like the colors, they seem kind of random (red, green, black, grey)
    1. 1

Hi, this is a marketing person speaking :D I like the web outline. From a design-perspective of view, I'm missing some strong, eye-catchy colors in some of the images/elements. Maybe you should consider adding more CTA buttons, besides the one for scheduling demo. Good luck ✌️

    1. 2
      • Time tracking in some form
      • I couldn't quite get how exactly the small screenshots and demos played into each other, the whole picture was missing. Maybe a full screenshot would be helpful
      1. 1

Hey @ciriousjoker ! Thank you for the valuable feedback!

    1. 1
      • It took a little for me to realize that it was for teachers
      • Design looks kind of dated. Slightly rounded corners and shadows would improve it I think
      1. 1

Thanks ciriousjoker. I added rounded corners and shadows. Do you think it looks any better?

        1. 1

Hmm it's slightly better but I think the real issue is that the design looks inconsistent and unpolished. It looks like you wrote the code yourself. If I were you, I'd probably rebuild the site using a framework like TailwindUI or Bootstrap. As for quickfixes: The menu on mobile seems broken, logo way too big.

          1. 1

Uh oh! I have a bigger problem than I thought...I'm already using Bootstrap :)

            Thanks again for your feedback.

            1. 1

              Don't give up!
Also, don't take my feedback and run with it. Especially since it was so harsh, you should always doublecheck and get feedback from other sources as well. I can confidently say that I have a good eye for design and I personally hate it when things are even just slightly off. Business-wise it might not be a good choice to spend time on the page design. Others might think completely different (especially your target audience, which I'm definitely not a part of!).

              1. 1

Thank you. I appreciate all feedback, even the bad! :)

                1. 1

I stumbled across this again and checked it out. I haven't gotten the old design in my mind, but this looks ok, the shadows & rounded corners definitely helped. The benefits/features icons are still somewhat off, but I think this is a good compromise between design & opportunity cost

                  1. 1

                    Thanks for your feedback!

    1. 1
      • I'm confused
      • After typing in my username, nothing comes up
      • "apple" also no result
      • What is this?
      1. 1

Hello Ciriousjoker, thanks for message but it doesn't look like you have created an account yet? you'll need to create and account and verify it to find your username. Once you have created an account, also fill in your skills keywords for the chance to get noticed. As for "Apple" search there are not a lot of Tech user on here yet , if you are an Apple coder then put apple in your keywords, hope you try it again. Scroll to the bottom of the homepage to see many example of great profiles, Thanks

        1. 1

Also we have only just launched in live beta version so there are still many users still to join

          1. 1

Ah ok that makes more sense. The thing is, the goal was to take 10 seconds and figure out what the site is about and I failed that test. I think you need to work on making clearer where the data comes from. I didn't know what I was expecting when I searched "apple" and just hoped for the best. I think I was expecting the site to be some sort of general business search engine to get statistics about companies or smth

            1. 1

Yeah i thought that was the case mate, i hoped you would have scrolled down one little bit to see the first paragraph as it explains it all. But its very good feedback for me to know as a new product gets about 10 second of a new users attention and that first section doesn't tell the story that well so i'll look into it somehow. Hope you try it again or scroll down to see more when you have a spare 2minutes .... www.shub.one . Again thanks for looking

              1. 1

The thing is I did scroll down a little but saw a wall of text and decided it's not worth the time to read so I just tried searching and hoped I'd figure it out. A bold headline explaining the main benefit/use case/search results would be helpful. You're not Google who can get away with just having a search bar and no context around it. I'm not going to read the text so I'm not biased when looking at it again. Let me know when you've made changes and want me to look again

                1. 1

awesome yes your right thanks, what i'll do to start with is to add the line
'Business Social Media Platform' under the
'Welcome to Shub.one' to give a clue as to what it is, then work on a way to explain the site in a few more words without messing with the clean front page. i'll be in touch once done

    1. 1

      Great innovation. Website has clarity

    2. 1
      • Immediate question: Does it work in my city (I live in rural Germany so I doubt it will)
    1. 1
      • I had a similar idea but it was more focused towards notifications and setting custom intervals
      • You'd set "remind me" -> "in a week" and it would send you a notification later
(Never got around to implementing it.)

you sell some miracle-berry fruit thing that you gotta add to food to make them change taste to a more pleasing one.

had no idea that was a thing 😯

    1. 2

you replace sms authentication with telegram.

personal opinion: it'd be much more clear if you talked about telegram right in your headline. also, a diagram to replace the steps could be a lot more direct and simple to interpret

      1. 1

        Thanks for the feedback!

Yup currently working on the diagrams to replace the steps!

Looks interesting! Like Donut? It seems some of the images are broken though

It is more a product demo built with adobe XD than a landing page. But maybe anyone still like it.

    Have a great day!

    1. 1

The headline explains it well - 'Transcribe audio and video into text'

    1. 1

I think is very clear, the video and the graphic helps a lot! Maybe you have to explain what "Laravel" is.

    1. 1

This is very clear. I would share this with a developer :)

  7. 1

https://stonksfolio.com - I'm quite happy with the landing page and still wonder if it's better to add the features to it or keep them on a different page.

    1. 1

As it says I'm guessing you (manually?) input what stocks you own & by when and it will then make a nice visualisation? Don't most trading platforms do this? Also for me personally finances & meme y ("stonks") companies usually don't mix (:

      1. 1

Hello! You can either manually input all transactions or import them from certain brokers. The added value is that a lot of people use multiple platforms for trading and each one has its own visualization. My project combines them all and also has nice little additional features :)

As for the name, to each their own I guess :) I like being lighthearted.

    1. 1

As a content creator, I'm not sure what's in it for me when I view this landing page.

      1. 1

Thank you for your feedback! I've have already made some changes on the site 😁 What do you think now?

        1. 1

I think it is clearer now, good work!

    Hi earthy people,
I've recently launch my website 🌱
    What you think I'm selling?
Who could be my potential customers?

    https://angeliqueboudeau.org

Thanks for your contributions to my journey🙂

    1. 1

A freelance designer that creates designs that are eco friendly

      1. 1

Yes exactly =) can you get who would be my potential customers?

        1. 1

Oh not really sure. People who need to print posters and want to use less ink

          1. 1

I'm aiming for people that are concern about climate change, the foot print impact of their business, don't want to pollute the planet. I guess I could be more litteral about it in my website to make it more obvious

    1. 1

Unifying disparate API's into a single GraphQL API. Looking forward to seeing more integrations. Best of luck!

embeddable swipe cards that you can get analytics on

    1. 2

Interesting idea. A controllable remote screen for office, with the questions in the the image I suppose being possible use cases... Feedback: I think the message might come across better if the possible uses were not through questions but imperative statements. Now as first glance so many questions feel like problems to solve but it doesn't completely strike how or why this solves it.

      1. 2

Really good point. Thank you very much for the feedback :-)

A tool that generates templates for provisioning a cloud infrastructure

      1. 1

Yes that it. A tool that helps you deploy cloud infrastructure with predefined and customisable templates. I'm working at a new LP version that puts the tool more in the front, feedback welcome
        http://testcbwebsite.s3-website.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/

    1. 2

The design looks really generic. Font is quite small and medium grey colour (not eye-catching). If you claim "Most Advanced Meeting Software For 21st Century" it needs to look better than Zoom, Skype, Slack, Google Hangouts... list goes on.

Maybe check out their sites and make yours even better than theirs!

      1. 1

Thanks for the honest feedback. I understand what i have to do, will make it cool and i will let you know.

Before, i am focusing to improve technology, i forgot about these things.

    2. 1

      Simple and seamless chat rooms

      1. 1

        Really? you understand this?
My landing page is that bad. Please try again.

    3. 1

Looks like a Zoom service, right? It would be nice to add some screen samples.

      1. 1

        Yes, but better than zoom.
Sure, I am going to add some.

  10. 1

It's very simple but hopefully conveys what the app is about:

Let me know what you think or if you have any other feedback! (yes it's supposed to look retro 😅)

    1. 1

I like it, I wish the site could have a demo game

      1. 1

hi @sharnehi5 👋😊oh cool idea!! what were you thinking, like a small promo video or something? thanks for taking the time to look!!

        1. 1

      Lovely idea

An audio library, but I don't know if it's an app or downloads

      1. 1

Excellent question! I'm not even sure what direction I'll be going in the long term.

At first I will offer both an audio stream through the web app, as well as a link to an external service offering the content (be it youtube, soundcloud or whatever service is out there hosting the content).

      1. 1

Yes, with Misakey you can encrypt and organize your documents!

I guess your product rewards users with discounted coffee if they answer surveys.

      1. 1

        lol yeah simple enough

    2. 1

I would say the aim of your product is to get more people to answer survey by offering a way to reward the participant with discount for coffees in their local area. Is it a way to empower local buisnesses while helping other gathering a larger audience to their survey? who are the people making the survey? Is your service for the people making the survey or fro people who wants free coffee?

      1. 1

Precisely. Higher survey response rate. More sales for local coffee stores.

The businesses make the survey. People who want survey completions are my customer, people who want coffee discounts are my customer's customers.

        1. 2

That's sound to be a nice way to help both 🙂 maybe a highlight on that part somewhere on the page could help to get your potential customers to understand that what you're offering is for them. Clarify who your selling to and what is the values of your product, exactly like you've just did here 😉 You can still keep the page short and simple while making clear your purpose.

Would like to you help me figuring out how I can improve my landing page? www.angeliqueboudeau.org

          1. 1

Ok, maybe I have to clarify the benefits a lot more.

Yeah. Link it on a separate thread.

    3. 1

Fill in surveys, get coffee discounts.

But it's not clear what kind of surveys, what coffee stores are available, how much are the discounts?

      1. 1

Great feedback. Those questions are beyond the scope of the landing page but actually clarified on the actual page. Do you think the landing page needs more? I was going for extremely simple

        1. 1

As it stands, I don't have a way of accessing the "actual page", at least from the landing page, and I'm not likely to subscribe to a service if I don't understand what it is about.

I don't even know if the service is available in my city, and as much I'd love coffee discounts I need to know if I'm eligible. Beside, if I get the information only after signing up, I'll just churn, which is bad for your analytics.

    4. 1

Free coffee in exchange for survey answers

      1. 1

Exactly. Maybe I need to be clearer. It allows founders doing market research to reward their survey participants

    5. 1

A survey tool for coffeeshops, rewarding customers who participate with drinks.

      1. 2

Thanks. I need to be clearer that it's not the survey part just the rewards part

As far as feedback goes, I'd to maybe see larger size difference between headers and body text. That way your message will pop up better as reader can glance at the headers. Also it has a bit of a wall of text feel to it, especially when scrolling down nearer to the bottom.

Cooool, like a HTML5 platform for application development? It would be cool if your website did more 'show don't tell'

      1. 1

Yeap, we create and IDE so you basically Drag and Drop elements while you build your product. Excellent Advice, people always want to see what are you into with environments samples at least. We will work on that ;) How are you doing?

    2. 1

It's a tool to help people to build their idea of app (is it also for browser plugins, websites, both? give us some examples 🙂 ) without having to hire a team of designer+developper? Can we say is a kind of DIY kit to launch Tech products all on your own, kind of workflow or wordpress for building apps? Is it web based or is it more like a software you download and install on your computer?

      1. 1

Hey, Thx for the comment. Yeap, it´s an App Development Platform for Non Developers (Drag and Drop visual build model). No Developers need it. You can Deploy Native applications for Android an iOS (faster, no crash errors). Its WebBased and Open Source (so you own the code just in case you need it). We are offering right now a Free Early Access Pass (limited numbers), just in case you are interested. ;)

        1. 1

You're welcome =) Maybe it would be profitable to use the word application or android - IOS somewhere in the top of the page. It wasn't obvious to me at first glance that your product is for building apps.

I'm not into building apps right now but if I or one of my client is looking for that I would definetly consider your platform 😉

If you want to have a look at my landing page and give me your impression feel free to do so: www.angeliqueboudeau.org

Oh very interesting. Helps those without tech background get started. Got lost in all the words how this happens within the 10 seconds. Does it try to match with a CTO tinder style or is about some open-source community or agency model?

      1. 1

Hi! it's more focus on Solo Entrepreneurs and/or StartUps without a Tech founder. We give you the tools to create and launch your product without writing a single line of code and covering the whole launch process. A friendly Tech Tool builder ;)
