Since there is no “leadership” or “management” group here, I thought I’d post in the two product groups, as that is probably as close as it is going to get for this topic. I’m hosting a Clubhouse to discuss Hal Moore’s book on Leadership this Friday 26 February at 1145 EST. Here is the link: https://www.joinclubhouse.com/event/mglg1DkK
Did you know over half of people who have quit a job did so because of a boss (of course here, I could very well be talking about you)? Another 30% want to quit because of their boss but haven’t yet. My guess is this is in part because the average age that a manager gets leadership training is 42.
I know most IHers are solo or have smaller teams, but even those leading small teams might benefit from taking a few moments to think about leadership. I just added a new “leadership book series” to my book club matching service Uption.io. If you can’t join for the Clubhouse, your feedback on www.uption.io/leadership would be very welcome. Feel free to email me [email protected] if you want to be notified of any future book talks, they will focus on leadership and business topics.
Hi @mikeneedle, I removed the post in the "Project Management" group and left this one here 😉
Awesome, thanks! Wasn’t sure which one was the best for it! I am surprised there isn’t a “leadership” or something similar discussion group on IH.
Maybe it's time to create one 🤷♂️
