Progress report: Gumrank

I launched gumrank (a way to discover gumroad courses) yesterday with little or no fanfare.

What spawned the idea you might ask?

well, I noticed that product discovery on gumroad could be better (it kinda sucks) and wanted to create a better way for would-be customers to discover useful products and for creators to have their products easily found and purchased based on the ranking of products given by people who have already purchased it.

For now, I am adopting an affiliate business model where I earn a commission on products purchased from the links listed on the website. I have been reaching out to creators and happy to say I was able to signup one of the highest-earning gumroad creators (he has earned north of $200k so far on the platform). It slow, tedious and chugging along but I am still motivated.
