Project idea: Can I help you integrate your blog and newsletter?

Hi, I'm Lesley! 👋

I'd love to help a small handful of people integrate their WordPress blog and Mailchimp newsletter. And maybe add some content restriction/dripping into the mix!

Here's the kind of person I'm looking to help:

EITHER: You already have a small blog on WordPress and want to get more subscribers by turning it into a newsletter. You've already looked into it a bit, but are procrastinating because you find it a little overwhelming.

OR: You already have a Mailchimp newsletter, and have been meaning to get a proper blog set up. You already own your own domain (and might even have WordPress already installed on it). But right now your website looks a little shabby, and you simply link to the Mailchimp archive, or don't link to the archive at all! You wish your archive was on the blog itself (for SEO, formatting and ease-of-sharing purposes), but have no idea how to make that happen. You also want to customise your subscription form/page a little better.

Who am I? And why am I doing this?

I'm the co-founder of Member Hero. We're a WordPress plugin for creating membership sites, premium publications and paid newsletters.

Right now, we're still developing the paid features, but the core plugin and Mailchimp features are completed, and I'm currently using them on my personal site. Here's a youtube video showing how I currently write blog posts and publish them as email newsletters on my website: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3BTqB09_Nc&t=121s

You can also check out my personal website, to see how I've linked wordpress and mailchimp up for myself! :)

Currently, we're looking to get some early users of Member Hero, and a big part of this process is showing real people using the plugin, and also showing how easy it is to set up.

How this works

I'd like to livestream the entire set up process. Which allows users to join in and ask questions in real time, and also see that it doesn't take very long at all to set up. This should hopefully be fun for you as well (you can join the livestream on video if you like, or if you're nervous about the video, you can simply be there in real time via Slack). Doing this should give your newsletter some publicity as well.

If this sounds like a cool project, simply email me at lesley at memberhero.pro or tweet us at https://twitter.com/memberheropro (I'm a Twitter noob, so apologies in advance if I do anything weird!)

P.S. Anyone who signs up won't ever have to pay a single cent for any of the Member Hero plugins and add-ons I use to help you build your site.

P.P.S. I'm not a developer, and have no idea how to code. So everything I do will be off-the-shelf, which again should hopefully show people that this stuff doesn't have to be intimidating at all.

If it's free, Alp does agree.

But do you need access to admin panel ? or not?

      Hey Alp,

Good to hear! Can you email me so that we can discuss how to make this happen?
