Prototype/Wireframes before MVP - feedback please 🙏

Here is the Prototype I can share of the MVP from Marvel - https://marvelapp.com/4i2c5ce

I put together this prototype and wireframes on Marvel to prepare for our MVP of Decision Donkey - www.decisiondonkey.com.

I'm a non technical founder with no design skills. All I have is an idea that I am trying to make come to life from a problem I experience at my full time job.

Let's be honest, I'm trying to figure this out and learn as I go!

Right now, we are gather beta sign ups at www.decisiondonkey.com.

Decision Donkey will be a Collaborative Pro/Con list built for teams to help make the best decisions, however, there will be a free version for individuals to create their own Pro/Con list for personal decisions.

As a developer, I think that your wireframes are a very good start and sufficient if you want to walk your programmer through and polish them.
As for the product, I'm not sure I should be reviewing it as I don't think that this is something I'd use.
I should also add that I like the design - the donkey logo together with a 'kick-ass' slogan are catchy, in my opinion.

OK, since I'm already typing I'll add few thoughts/questions as a form of feedback for your idea.
What's the advantage of using your service as opposed to getting the team together and doing a pros/cons analysis or decision tree on a whiteboard? In other words what are you offering that cannot be simply solved without your tool? This wasn't clear for me after looking at your landing page for ~10-15s.

My guess from wireframes was that the mechanism for making a decision are users voting on each pro and con. My first impression from what you're trying to sell is that it aids with making a decision and so I automatically assumed that you'd employ some (advanced) decision making techniques for that. Perhaps it's not so much decision making aid that you're trying to sell but more of a reminded for people to take action. If so, maybe this should be clearer on the website.

      Thank you for the feedback!

There would be a couple advantages over getting a team together and white boarding:

      • remote workers -- they can contribute at any time
      • you can't save a whiteboard and edit it later
      • most decisions aren't made in a single meeting -- they take time so coming back to an important decision to "poke holes" is key
      • one place for notes and comments so in the future and can come back and see why you made the decision

Plus, this will catalog past decisions for future review so you can measure results or metrics which is a current challenge/problem in my current company. We make a decision and immediately move to the next decision. Past decisions are rarely reviewed.

There is nothing sexy about a Pro Con list but a lot of people use them and are familiar with it, so that is what i wanted to start out my MVP with -- there are many types of decision making tools which I hope to add in future versions.

I agree with you, I need to convey the problem/solution much clearer in the first 10-15 seconds on the landing page.

I like the idea of your project. I like to think in pros and cons. What is your pricing? Any basic free option?

Thank you. My plan is to have a free option for individuals and then pay per user for teams.
