Rand Fishkin: Chill Work > Hustling

https://sparktoro.com/blog/hustle-culture-vs-chill-work/

I totally get what Rand is saying here, but it makes me think... don't you have to hustle a bit before you figure out how to master the zen of "chill work"? Maybe Rand is promoting working smarter not harder?

How do you define hustle work?

What's your work style?
  1. Straight up hustling
  2. Chilling, but getting results

I can see the chill approach working more for me. Current 9-5 is so full of go go go that a side business with a more relaxed (but no less demanding overall) pace is insanely attractive.

I hustled for around 5 years, now I chill. I agree you have to hustle to get over the experience and knowledge slump over to expertly chilling.

hustle with a peace of mind
