Reached $50 MRR in a week, just by revamping the landing page, Yay!

I am Kumar, building PropagateAt.
The Substack for SMS.

Initially, I wanted it to be the online marketing platform for Email, WhatsApp and SMS combined, and this is how the old landing page looked like.

I was lucky to be mentored by some really great people, I got many inputs, and I quickly learned that the landing page was dull, and the Startup needs a pivot.

It needs to be either the Substack for WhatsApp or the Substack for SMS. Eff emails because there are big companies already doing it, namely Substack.

To Do Two Things At Once Is To Do Neither.

I chose SMS, because WhatsApp has many restrictions. Nevertheless, the MVP supports Email, WhatsApp and SMS, but will only focus on SMS.

And the new landing page (currently online) does the exact same job. It talks about Substack for SMS.

After sharing the links in a few "founder discord groups", I immediately got 5 new users, 3 of them paying, reaching $50 MRR. I am thrilled, it's the first time I created some subscription service that someone is paying to use!
