Reaching $114 MRR in just two weeks
Yesterday I signed up two new customers for SEOCopy.ai and reached the significant milestone of $100 MRR.
I don’t know how to feel… making internet money feels strange, but amazing. I’m literally being paid to build/do what I love, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support given. A few weeks ago I’d never have dreamt that I’d reach this milestone so quickly, especially considering we’re still in beta and haven’t done any significant launches.
The biggest piece of advice that I’ve gained along the way is to make “internet friends”. Whether that be on IndieHackers, Twitter or Reddit, reaching out to people via DM and striking up a conversation and then supporting that person via positive engagement on their posts is huge, because that then usually gets reciprocated and all of a sudden you feel that you’re starting to build a decent support network.
Having that early support keeps you motived, and the likes/comments from your network helps propel your posts and give you more reach.
So my one piece of advice is to put yourself out there. DM people. Make connections. After a week or so of doing this, you’ll be happy that you invested the time.

Congrats Richie. Networking is the best way of getting more business, no doubt in it. Really nice service by the way. Targetting seo related groups in reddit & fb would definitely pay for you, no doubt on it.

Nice work, I liked the SEO scoring and suggestions of DropInBlog but didn't like much else about the offering so this looks great now I'm on Squarespace

Internet friends with mutual interest's are very crucial to the spark of daily "momentum" to achieve your goal .
Sometimes, I think "internet friends" are the best kind of friends. Then I remember my internet friends are also developers, founders, and SaaS enthusiasts. Yeah. They are the best kind of people.

Also kudos on your pricing structure on your landing page. I don't see enough "betas" and early launches structuring pricing like you. Ton of social pressure to buy now before the big release. I love it and clearly it's working!
