Anybody use reddit to search for sales leads?
I'm building a new search tool for Reddit (because the built-in one sucks and pushshift is down).
If there's a feature you'd like included (something you wish reddit had, or something you miss about pushshift-powered search UIs), let me know and I'll try to include it!
Hi! We use Reddit Ads to get new users. We tried Reddit Ads but so far, we have a lot of impressions but not a lot of conversions.
I'm still new to Reddit. But I noticed that the search bar recommendations (when we clic on it) does not show personalized content but trending topics, which is too bad.
What kind of personalization would you like to see?
Recommendations based on the subreddits that I follow and related content.
Try - https://go.gummysearch.com/ I'm testing it now, not sure if it's working or not yet but it looks like a promising search tool
Hey thanks! I made this post years ago before building GummySearch. Let me know how it goes and if you have any feedback!
Actually, I use Reddit for anything these days. I feel like it's so underrated and I don't know why. From my personal point of view, it's a more powerful platform than we let it be. It's the place that motivated me to start a blog, it's the platform where I asked for opinions on my blog, I'm positive that I couldn't have done as such on Facebook or Instagram and receive unbiased feedback. I think one of the smartest marketing decisions that I've done for my blog last year was to buy Reddit upvotes, I recommend this site https://boostupvotes.com by the way. It was like the views on my site blew up. People on there are actually interested in learning and reading and supporting others. So underrated...
do you think its community would accept some posts that can be for some considered "spam"? I mean, if you target an audience of VR users and post your VR product there, is it considered spam or would that be accepted?
thanks
Totally agree that it's underrated, such a powerful thing to have millions of unique passionate communities!
Check out this read by Greg Isenberg, a thought experiment on the potential of Reddit. It's a good one. https://latecheckout.substack.com/p/reddit-organized-lightning
I usually buy reddit upvotes on http://upvote.shop/
Yes! Reddit is still super underrated for this as long as you find relevant subreddits, posts and comments.
Surfkey.io by @johancutych is amazing for this!
