Remove all uhhhhhh's in your Recording

TL;DR
I made a tool which removes all filler sounds (uhhhh, ummm)

If you are a fellow podcaster, I'll send you a free license key, just write me at contact <at> cleanvoice.ai or Twitter

More Context
I have been podcasting since January (https://wierd.ai) and most of the work is research and editing the recording. (removing filler sounds, stuttering etc)
So I made a AI, which can help with the editing.

Instead of editing my podcasts for 1-2 hours, I just need 45 minutes.
Since this is very early stage product, I'll appreciate your feedback.

Clever concept! I'm sharing your tool to podcasters I know.

A suggestion: might be worth preventing the two audio files Before / After section to play simultaneously.

PS: what's the tech behind it?

    1. 2

Thank you for the suggestion. Yeah that make sense.

Regarding Tech, it's a custom ML algorithm, which I have developed.

  2. 2

I will send you a message! Excited to check it out.

great tool, would love to include this on my newsletter for podcasters

Wow you have no idea how much time I've wasted editing "uhhhh" out of videos. I've spent uhh... lot

    Couldn't resist.

Love the simplicity of the site! Just head there, drop your file, done. Well done!

@pentaboi This is very cool! You're unbundling Discord and offering the main feature (or one of them) as a standalone service. Clever! :)

I'm curious about the tech behind this because I'm trying to learn about practical ML atm. I noticed you mentioned in another comment that you've developed a "custom ML algorithm". Does that mean you trained your own model? If that's the case, how did you get the necessary data? And how much data was sufficient to train the model?

Wow, that's definitely useful. I spend a lot of time editing those out of my interviews for QuickTalks.io although I record everything on video. Do you plan to expand it to videos too? 😛

      Hi Antonio,
Maybe. It wouldn't be so hard to extend it to video. However, the focus now is to build the best ummm remover.

      1. 1

I'll keep an eye on it 😉
By the way, I'm sure a lot of people search "remove umm from audio" and it shouldn't be very competitive. If you invest some time in SEO I'm sure you'll get a lot of traffic 🤙

          Thanks for the tip!

It would be awesome to extend this for "like".

Thank you for the suggestion. This will be definitely implemented in the future.

I'm not a podcaster, but your tool seems incredible.

I understood what the tool is doing in 2 sec, and your landing page is very clear.
Good job, and I would like to podcast only to try your tool ;)

A little tip as non-english speaker: you can also target all no-English speaker because this "uhhhhh" moment happens a lot when a non-English speaker speaks in English (time to find the correct word in english)

Thanks for the feedback. Hit me up and I'll send you a key.
It's actually multi-language. I support English, German and Bulgarian "uhhhs"
If you have a particular application in mind, hit me up and I'll send you key.

Looks like your twitter DMs are closed ☹️

      Ups! Should be open now!

this is such a cool tool! is there a length constraint on the file uploaded?

    1. 1

For now, only file size limit (100MB).
