Repost - Wrote my Startup Obituary - Based on Quibi

I wrote my startup obituary. I, like many, recognized the Quibi failure was "epic fail" news story, a billion-dollar venture down the drain in 6 months is impressively bad. I wanted to join in the bandwagon and criticize, but then I realized failure sucks, and no matter how good or bad the idea it's not fun to revel in someone's failure.
I wanted to attempt to feel the same sting of failure. Let's face it, I like many made fun of a company that was by all measurements successful, I too joined in the discourse and made fun of something I had no business in doing. I haven't failed because I haven't yet succeeded. I am technically just in a long-term failure, I am slowly trying to make it but each day I dont succeed I am failing. I realize this sounds glass half-full, but trust me I am not down-trodden. I constantly dust myself off and get back on the horse. As penance for my impertinence, I decided to write my Startup obituary based nearly word-for-word on the USA article. It was a good exercise in identifying the soft spots, the kinks in my armor. I wanted to at least say out loud my problems, maybe this way I can work towards fixing it.
