Roast My Idea: BetterSpent

Here's the thought - consumerism plagues us... we've got so many purchases to make so easily, we often don't think about the financial implications, or the alternative methods for spending that money, perhaps in better ways.

Why not a chrome extension that offers users some investment opportunities when they are about to make a purchase? So if someone is shopping on amazon, or other sites, it offers you a chance to invest in a stock instead of that, and shows what the monetary growth could be like if invested?

Could be really cool i think, and help people make better financial decisions while limiting stupid purchases!
