Roast my PH Demo Video

Hello 👋

About to launch my first product next week and just finished my demo video for PH.

I'm building Vidtranslate - a tool for automated Video Translations into 29 languages synthesized to over 100 lifelike voices.

You can find the demo video here

Updated video here

Would be happy to get some feedback. Especially if the message is clear and understandable.

I agree with @ramram - the video is definitely really clear and the product is awesome!

Also had the same thoughts re: feedback:

The initial speech was definitely a bit fast - I immediately checked my youtube playback settings speed thinking I had it accidentally set to 1.5x speed!

I also think the example translations were too long for each one. I got the point pretty quickly but the example translations went on longer than necessary, IMO. I think you could trim down the examples in quantity and make each example like 1/2 as long and still get the point across. That way you'll have an overall shorter video + some extra time to potentially slow down the initial part a tiny bit.

Good luck - let us know when you launch!

Hi @aj_alkasmi! Thank you so much for your valuable feedback! I just uploaded a new version here based on both (@ramram) of your suggestions.

I deeply appreciate you taking the time of your day to help! Will launch on Wednesday and post it here for sure. Let me also know if I could help you out with anything.

Take care buddy. Thanks again :)

Nice! Thanks and best of luck @dtunker :)

IMHO the message is super clear, and the product is really impressive!!

    Few things about the video:

    1. For me the speech was maybe a little too fast
    2. The video focuses too long on things that are interesting, but also very easy to understand. The most prominent example is the demo of translation to multiple language: the point is easily understood, but the demos are very long (and boring- assuming most people don't speak more than 2 of the languages demonstrated anyway).

    Hope this helps..
Best of luck! Again- the product is super impressive and seems really useful!

      Hi @ramram!

I must've replayed this demo like a million times and was just stuck in a rut now haha. Thank you so much for your valuable feedback from this external point of view! I really appreciate you taking your time to help me out here!

The two things you mentioned are very on point and I'll work on them tonight for sure!

Thanks also for your kind words :) Keep the fingers crossed when going live next week! 🤞
