I'm looking for feedback on a new project of mine, recorank.com. It's an aggregator of review scores, blogs, videos, and price history of popular consumer tech products.
I got the idea when I started an affiliate blog last year and realized how saturated the space was. Instead of writing my own tech reviews, the mass amount of tech content gave me the inspiration to help people make sense of it.
I received some good, constructive feedback from the fine folks at r/SideProject and have implemented 99% of the suggestions.
I'm curious what thoughts Indie Hackers have.
Also, if anyone wants feedback on their own project(s) - let me know. Happy to connect 1:1 to exchange feedback and help each other out.
mmm... it actually looks not bad and useful..👀

Clickable...
Like on Amazon products / google maps / review sites... I usually click on the 1 start to see what they hated...
Looked at this page https://recorank.com/?query=nokia&page=1&configure[hitsPerPage]=10&configure[filters]=reviewnum>3
Like I don't find the excerpts interesting... you can clean them up a bit maybe...
...
on the excerpts should be clickableAlso the links on them all say #top - be nice it the links had meaning... (I'm a technical user, feel free to put it on the bottom of the list.. but it feels like it just would do the same no matter where I click..)
https://recorank.com/?query=NordVPN&page=1&configure[hitsPerPage]=10&configure[filters]=reviewnum>3
Like give me a VPN category link near the top close I guess 🤷
I feel like I could go on for a while exploring but that's my initial look of a few minutes ..
Generally I'm impressed, maybe a few more ways to explore for items, like category trees and such, filters etc
Thank you @hatkyinc - great feedback. I've made some fixes already. I like the histogram idea. I'll give it a shot.
