SAAS Mobile Web App

Anyone created a Mobile Web App/pwa app and are charging a monthly fee to use the hosted app?

Thus saving time and hassle dealing with appstores and submission headaches etc... ?

Any comments/feedback on this if so? I.e. Are people willing to pay for this type of app instead of buying from an Apple or Google appstore?

From my experience, it's all about convenience. There are a lot of apps that could be considered as SaaS - just because they provide some service. The problem is it's not always easy and convenient to use mobile app - that is why a true web SaaS is more preferable in these cases.
