Scratching my own itch!! ๐Ÿ• ๐Ÿ•Ÿ

I work in a distributed team and we use Slack for communication

Often at times, when setting up meetings I tend to forget that "3.30 PM tomorrow" could mean completely different times for different people

This gave birth to a weekend long side project to solve this problem of my own

More updates on this, coming soon

Teaser: it will be called Timely, and would be a free forever Slack app

EDIT: It's ready, here: https://www.indiehackers.com/product/timely-2/launched-on-indiehackers--MFjx0c5PNo1ToP6ro9n

This is something that I often find myself juggling with meeting people in different timezones. Looking forward to seeing your solution :)

Hopefully you'll also find this useful. I will be soft launching on IH shortly!!

You might have to wait just a couple more hours as I am putting together the landing page
I hope it will be worth the wait

Very cool idea! I've had this same issue when emailing indiehackers from all over the world.

Interesting design. The illustrations could use some work however. I would suggest going on Manypixels.co to find some nice flatline ones. The illustrations blend into the background which isnโ€™t good. Try using a white background instead maybe?

Also, the hero section is very blank. Could you add a screenshot of the slack app inaction?

        Hope this helps :)

Hey Brayden!! This is just be a slack app for now. But maybe I'll hack a chrome extension too if people like this.

Also, I have seen your amazing pages on BuildFaster and am looking forward to hearing your feedback on the landing page that will be live very very soon :D

Scratching your own itch is always the best way to start a project. Who knows, maybe others have that same itch. :)

Congrats, and looking forward to seeing your startup bloom. Consider building in public, too.

      Hey @matteing
I always enjoy reading other people building in public. I will surely document the further journey for Timely

      Thanks
