Security (Day 170)

Attended the "Achieving a More Rapid & Comprehensive Cyber Security Posture" webinar. Look at the security threat chart above, so many areas to cover for a modern enterprise. Security is paramount in a traditional enterprise, and the complexity increases exponentially with each new workflow/feature added.

Now imagine that we are building everything IN THE OPEN with OPEN SOURCE code, and smart contracts all readable (in a way) on blockchain, AND -- once on-chain assets are stolen they cannot be reverted -- the security for the blockchain industry is even more paramount, and challenging. The way "money legos" stacked, with each new component, the risk increases exponentially, too.

We are also seeing edge case bugs exposed during high loads on blockchain -- so in addition to the security audits, we should also add stress tests to ensure security.
