Self-motivation with growth metrics

One of the things that keeps me motivated, and has for years, is looking at the growth metrics for every product and project I work on. If some number -- any number! -- is moving up and to the right I can talk myself into sitting down at a keyboard and pushing it forward; once things start to stagnate I have to fight myself just for a few hours focus. It's particularly tough in the early days of new projects, which is where I am now: I've just launched a 6-month project, and grinding through early user acquisition is killing me.

So I took a few weeks off and polished up a motivational tool I built for myself a few years ago: it's a tool that connects to Stripe and shows you automatic growth forecasts. Maybe your customer growth for this month isn't that awe inspiring, but where will it be in 6 months? 12?

Saascast Growth Forecast

It's been amazingly motivating for me since I put it together, and I'd love for other IH folk to take a look at it and see if you find it helpful. Give it a look at https://saascast.io.
