SEO spam attack

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with SEO spam attacks, however, it looks like we've recently suffered from one at www.bitcompare.net

This is new to me and it looks like we have identified them and disavowed but I'd like to know if anyone else have had a similar attack and if so, what you did about it?

Is there any way to prevent it?

Thanks!

    Hey Dean,

yeah, I've had some spam issues as well. Actually posted about the spam issue here too.

Afaik there isn't a way to avoid it. Disavowing and moving on...

Thanks for sharing that. I've done the same thing. I did it last night, so hopefully it'll take effect fairly soon.

No problem. Did you have similar domains/host names?

It was a pretty fast change for me. SEO-fast - not dev-fast :D
