Finding a remote job can be challenging, So we do it for you !

We literally handpick the best remote jobs in your field from all the job portals and deliver it straight to your inbox.

Note: I'm just experimenting with this copy based on feedback from an Indiehacker. Please feel free to fix this or provide feedback.

    1. 2

I really like this. It's quick, to the point, and convincing. Would definitely check this out next time I'm looking for a new position.

      1. 1

Thanks, What do you think about the pitch lines I had on https://remoteleaf.com/

Should I use these lines I posted here in this thread?

        1. 1

Compared to - "We search the entire internet and hand-pick thousands of remote jobs, so you don’t have to" - I prefer what you've posted up here.

The references to hand picking "the best" remote jobs and "delivering straight to your inbox" feels like it better conveys the value proposition is (ie; reducing the amount of work involved in searching for a remote job).

In comparison, the reference to quantity ("thousands of remote jobs") in the existing pitch makes it seem like it's still kinda going to be a fair bit of work to look through these jobs.

          1. 1

Maybe I'll see if I can combine both the sentences and come up with another one.

    2. 2

      Great idea and execution 🔥

    3. 1

We find the best remote jobs and deliver it straight to your inbox.

      Less is more.

Great concept, very timely. Keep up the hustle.

    4. 1

I am loving your domain. GJ

      1. 1

Ha, here is our indie hacker suggested the above copy 👏

I was about to send you this link to show how famous your copy is :)

    5. 1

Sounds great. If I were looking for remote work, I would definitely go check it out.

One thing I might recommend exploring is how can you make the person reading it feel like they're the hero? This is something that's hard to do for your own stuff (I struggle with it) but can make a huge difference. Maybe something like this:

Your skills speak for themselves. So why waste your time hunting for remote work when the work should be looking for you? Now it will. Have the best remote jobs in your field hand-picked and delivered to your inbox.

      1. 1

Noted, I'll take this into consideration. Thank you for your suggestion.

⚛️ Divjoy.com — Build your product 10x faster. We give you a React codebase with UI, auth, database, and everything else you need to jump-start your next project.

    1. 2

Divjoy.com - we do all the boring stuff, so you can do all the fun stuff.

    2. 2

What if you focused even deeper on a niche? For example: "Build eCommerce landing pages 10x and cheaper than anywhere else." Make it something that puts you as not just the best, but the only option to do what you offer.

(shoot, I should take my own advice on my own project)

      1. 1

Yeah, I'd like it to eventually be "Build your SaaS app 10x faster", but it feels lame saying that without payments in yet... Which is kind of why I'm vaguely for "products" or "web apps". It's a tough one because my users are building real web apps, so I don't want people to confuse it for just a landing page builder (in which case you really should use webflow, landen, etc, they are way better).

    3. 2

I think you change "Build products 10x faster" to "Build websites 10x faster". I thought it was making products for e-commerce sellers.

      1. 1

        Good point, thanks!

1Brand - Custom brand guidelines built from your website, in moments.

    1. 1

      your brand guidelines, instantly

    2. 1

Okay, obviously this quick-pitch worked because I slightly gasped when reading it. lol - but I'm a branding/design nerd, so...

And I couldn't even finish this comment before going and signing up. Brilliant idea. I had a similar idea years ago, but never found the time/resources to execute it. So I've been manually building simple brand guides for all my businesses like this: https://sovisual.co/brand/

Love how you've built this! Great work!

      1. 2

Thanks so much, Dustin. I'm glad this resonated with you! My hope is that founders like you will use 1Brand because it's easier. However, I think EVERY business (and non-profits and governments, too) could benefit from having a central source of truth for their brand.

I've actually been thinking about how to solve this problem for years, acquiring the skills and understanding the market, business model and technologies to make this work. It turns out this was still a much more audacious project than I imagined, but I think we've succeeded in keeping that complexity away from our customers.

If you're interested and have the audience, we have an affiliate program with an aggressive payout as we move towards launch.

        1. 1

Will definitely look into the affiliate program. You should definitely consider some sort of white label program for agencies to easily provide this for their clients. I know one particular agency who would probably jump on it right away.

          1. 1

Absolutely! White label & agency support has always been part of the plan, and we've already started dev. Do you think agencies also need a more flexible version of the guidelines, which lets them do more customization of the look and feel? I'd love to talk to the agency you mentioned - they'd have the opportunity to shape the direction of the agency offering. [email protected]

            1. 2

I'll send this their way and see what they think.

🤖Browse AI is the first SaaS that lets you automate web browsing with no coding.

    BrowseAI.com*

It is primarily used in (e2e) testing web apps, monitoring sites for changes, and turning websites into APIs.

We're launching in a few weeks and we'd love to invite you as an early user!

*The current landing page is not great! It was created 3 months ago. We're launching a new marketing site with video demos in about a week!

    1. 1

I've used a tool very similar to this - robotictape, I'd love to see how yours is better & maybe provide some suggestions to help out @ardalan

      1. 1

Thanks so much for offering to help @Konvert! We would really appreciate your feedback. The early user signup form is at the bottom of the landing page: BrowseAI.com . We're going to send out invitations mid-May.

The product you mentioned seems interesting. I hadn't come across it before. I'll take a deeper look later, but from what I've seen so far, these are some of the major differences between Browse AI and Robotic Tape:

        1. Browse AI does not limit you to a few social media sites (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram). You can use it for automations on any site. No limits, whatsoever. Although you can also use 1-click templates to set up those common automations.
        2. Robotic Tape reuses your temporary login token to login as you on those sites. Since this token usually expires within a few hours, every time you're running an automation there, you have to copy a new token which takes some time and prevents you from running your automation regularly on a schedule or using webhooks. Browse AI takes a different approach that allows you to set up an automation once and use it forever without having to enter any information again.

So I'd say Browse AI will support everything that Robotic Tape does with a better user experience. Plus, it will be able to do billions of other things as you'll be able to use it on any website.

        1. 1

          Really cool stuff @ardalan

One of the things I noticed was that the login would always have to be renewed everytime I scraped if the site required a user/pass so if you found a way around that - really excited to see.

          1. 1

            Thanks @Konvert!

Yeah that's a common issue with a lot of tools. That's why we log into sites just like how a user would (using a username & password). We even solve captchas if there are any. This hugely improves our user experience and makes the automation very stable.

I'd love to show you what we've built in 3-4 weeks when it's ready. Can I sign you up? I'd just need your email. (or you can sign up yourself on BrowseAI.com)

    Unlimited done-for-you social videos

    http://www.socialvideo.studio

We take your zoom calls, selfie videos, photos, and voice memos, and our team of professional video editors and animators turn them into delightful 6-60 videos in 2 business days.

    1. 3

I'm immediately attracted to the concept, but I think the pitch leaves me with a lot of questions. It also seems like a lot of work on my part because it makes me think "I need to create these zoom calls, selfie videos, photos, etc. and send them to them."

I think instead of giving specific types of content--potentially pigeonholing yourself, or alienating those who don't have those media types--maybe just be more ambiguous. Let them fill in the types of content they can send you (because it seems like you can work with anything). So maybe something like...

Get your photos, video, or audio converted into delightful social videos.

      1. 1

This is great feedback! Yeah I just threw in some content types for the purposes of this post. In reality we say "using content you already have" but sometimes people don't know that they're sitting on usable content (Zoom calls is a great example - if only they knew that their recorded call could be turned into marketing material!)

So I totally take your point and our website copy is more towards the "content you already have" but also there's some education involved. Thanks for the comment!

Bestow connects businesses with local knowledge workers.

    1. 1

I really like the idea behind it. But the process of how the hiring happens is not made very clear, at least to me.
I think the color yellow makes your landing page really lively, so I think the emojis in the buttons are a bit excessive.

I know this may sound biased since I represent a freemium form builder, but have you considered using a form builder to have a more customized design and even have the form embedded in your home page?

      1. 1

I was going to work on forms that connected to my air table. So the data could go there directly. Send me a link to your form builder I will check it out. Does it connect to airtable and do you have a Zapier integration

        1. 1

hey thanks! Airtable integration is on our roadmap, but we do have the Zapier integration:

    Relaxed-dijkstra-1e8c58.netlify.com

    1. 2

I really liked it! My suggestion is something we're struggling a bit with as well. "Supercharge your workflow" doesn't really bring to mind the solution you're giving. (We used to have "Automate your workflow" which didn't get people immediately thinking of online forms)

Maybe something like Supercharged Library, All Colors & Fonts Search Engine, Catalog of Colors...? I'm spitballing a bit. But the feel I got while navigating was that I was browsing through a very meticulous digital dictionary. and I thought that was really cool.

      1. 1

        Hey Porthas!
Been outside sorry for my delay... I agree with it ain't bringing nothing to mind, is not a familiar word...so it might be that
        They sound good though!

        "Automate your workflow"

That would suit for something like Divjoy..you are right.

        I have been thinking about.
Colors and Fonts, color and typography depot. But it feels tacky...

        Thank you so much.

Wow, pretty neat. Do you manually do this or is there some automation? Seems like a lot of work to do this manually!

      1. 1

Thanks! It's both. If you take a look at this most recent post, an interview with Garry Tan, you'd see there is a transcript and some notes/annotations. The transcript is generated automatically, but the annotations were added by Kyle, the host of Paradox Podcast.

I've done quite a few notes on my own, to seed the database and get it going ... about 3,000 notes to be precise, but now more podcasters are tuning in and I can focus on the business, rather than the note-taking!

Create custom forms that capture leads and automate client onboarding.
    https://www.mightyforms.com/

    1. 2

Clear value prop, obviously super compelling for any online business.

I'd say the gif on the site though doesn't really show off how it helps you 'capture leads and automate onboarding." Would like to visually see how different it is from typeform for example.

      1. 2

I agree with Jahn. The gif resolution didn't vibe with the rest of the homepage.

There is definitely great value here, especially if you peel off some of the typeform market.

      2. 1

You make a very good point. That design was when our strongest point was how quick and easy it was to make a form. Now it's definitely customization and our integrations. Thanks!
