You could try Passdropit.com that let's to add a password to your Dropbox or Google Drive links. Can set the link to expire and receive download notification. Pretty easy, but better than mailing the plain link to someone.
No I mean, when I send protected file, usually I send the file link and the password in email/chat, but I think it’s not secure enough. What do you think?
