Short-term vs long-term planning in a startup

Hey y'all, I'm new here and have a question :)

How do you go about short-term vs long-term planning for your startup?
We're early stage (few thousand MAUs, early revenue) and mostly just go from sprint to sprint w some a clear idea where to go long-term. However, marrying the short-term (mostly weekly) planning with longer-term planning (3-6 mths) has been tricky bc timelines slip, focuses shift, predictability etc is impossible
Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks!

I think you'll never find the "right" balance, because there are 100s of things to do in the short run, 100s in the long run, and deciding which one to pursue can be tough.

For me, weekly reviews help. Then making a plan for the week and STICKING to it.
