πŸš€ Shortform Saturday Standup πŸš€

Now that the holiday weekend is over, time to get back to it!

In terms of accomplishing your goals.

What did you do since yesterday's standup?

What are you going to work on until the next standup?

  1. 1

    Since Last Standup

βœ… Redesign our menu item tile so the heart toggle is always available.
βœ… Adjust our copy flow so that the mobile view is more eye catching.
❌ Fix the animation in transition on opening the section / menu picker so content is not hidden until the animation completes.

❌ If I manage to complete the above tasks, I also plan on giving myself a little time to hack together a chrome plugin that will automagically allow me to convert users web menus into our format so I can put together custom demos for businesses that will hopefully be useful for increasing conversion rate.

    Today I will

🀞 I made a post on landing page feedback where I offered to do video reviews for everyone's page. I got a lot of them done, but there was a whole heap of interest so I have a lot of catching up to do. I'm going to try and finish up about 10 more videos today and see how much is left after that.
🀞 Make a todo list of some cleanup of a justshipped.io project that we hope to release this wednesday along with some QOL improvments on our other products.
🀞Deploy the menu item alignment fix for order.ly/menus
🀞 Add a "see more" bugfix to order.ly/menus that can cause our menu items to get all squished on mobile
🀞 go for a nice walk and listen to a podcast to break up my day a bit
🀞 Fix the transition bug I didn't get to last time round.
🀞 Implement a QR code feature for our app http://burn.link , I realized I end up using it pretty frequently to share passwords to devices that I'm unable to message. This provides a nice way to share the link via QR code, (probably mostly a QOL feature for me πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ)

Seeing as that list is pretty ambitious considering that its about 3PM here, if I get about half of those things wrapped up I'll be pretty satisfied.

I also spend most of this afternoon pair programming with a newer JustShipped member on our latest project, so even if I only finish a few tasks, I'll still feel somewhat accomplished πŸ˜›
