Hello!
I would like to share with you product I have been working on for last 3 months: https://www.gemalpha.com It is a service which allows for exploiting extremely simple value investing strategy (used by quants and value investors for decades) to beat the mean stock market returns in the long run.
Idea is simple: rebalance your portfolio every year to invest in the 24 most undervalued companies on the US stock market (equally weighted). What "undervalued" means was described on the landing page (+ I have shared backtests results and I have shared open source code, which you can clone, tweak and test yourself).
What do you think about my product? Would you use it and pay for it? If no, the what can be improved so I could convince you to use it?
A couple of thoughts:
I do like the idea of providing individual investors with a good actionable services though, I think there is a market for that. I am working on a related product (not released yet).
@iavorbotev Moreover, what I can say is that is not that I like or not like value investing, history shows that this strategy just works and that's it.
That's fair comment. Strong historical performance is very important. Still, a backtest of a strategy should be evaluated holistically and one can subjectively like/dislike it for a myriad of reasons despite a positive historical performance.
Sure, I agree that strategy needs to fit given person
Thanks for your input!
