I submitted this to Show HN yesterday (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19626404) and got some nice feedback; looking for more suggestions and feedback here.
I got the idea for this project after I saw the a submission of a PDF on "The Mathematics of the Rubik's Cube" and promptly printed it out to save for later as a long form read during an extended period of downtime.
I then wanted to find papers on similarly interesting topics. This project was then hatched as an initial proof-of-concept. If there's enough interest in this, and evidence that there's some value added here, I'd certainly like to put more meat around the barebones prototype here.
I also got a decent number of signups for the mailing list - around 4% subscribe rate based on a very rough estimate of unique visitors. I'd be interested to learn about some best practices and next steps to take in maximizing the potential of the mailing list.
