Show your 'About us' / 'Mission' page

At Organisely, we are working on building our Mission page to help with our SEO Strategy. What's the best About us / Mission page you've got / ever seen?

Also, are there are tips & tricks you could share with us?

      Great one. Thanks for sharing!

This is a legendary about page. Huge fan.

The power of being a solo founder. You can be incredibly personal. I love it!

Take a look at the one we have for Plausible Analytics: https://plausible.io/about

We share our info, our mission and goals, our open stats including revenue and customers, how we do marketing and other things we believe in and care about.

    1. 2

I absolutely love Plausible Analytics. Great job you are doing there 👍

    2. 2

Nice work. It's a compelling story that I would assume resonates well with your target audience 👌🏻.

    I really like wakeque's about page https://wakeque.com/about

    Here's mine: https://divjoy.com/mission

I haven't changed it since I launched over a year ago and it probably needs a refresh.. just hasn't ever felt like a priority. What's one thing that would make it better?

    1. 2

Probably the one thing I would add is a personal touch. You keep talking about ‘we will do this / we will do that’, but who are you?

      1. 1

Thanks for the feedback! Will get some info about me up there.

We put in a bit of humor and that is my actual couch/office since COVID.

Happy to share DGLegacy's mission to build a world where people can protect their digital and financial assets and make sure their loved ones will inherit them.

We really need to improve. Please suggest changes. Ask questions for clarity.

You should consider removing the .php from your URLs. It's not very professional.

      1. 1

Agreed. We are working on removing .PHP from URLs.

Could you also tell me what are some technical reasons to do it?

  9. 1

This the one and the only page I gave in my blog, my own about page https://www.remidiy.com/

  10. 1

Here's mine. It opens with a video of buddy, my flying cat! He plays a central role in my marketing, and I think he does an awesome job.

I think it was the very last page we added to our website. My co-founder decided we needed one for better SEO, and also to give a less corporate image and a bit of a back story about us.

    Here's our /about page for Portabella https://portabella.io/about/.

Opening it up now I see some formatting issues but the content is the same.

    Tried to highlight,

    • why we're building an end-to-end encrypted business
    • the type of business we'd like to run.

I'm really happy with how the About Us page for DelightChat turned out.

We just focused on sharing where we come from, what we saw, and what drives us forward :)
