Slow progress BUT energised! $0 revenue, ~150 installs in ~100 days (iOS only) and just launched the Android version.

Story

Approx 100 days ago, I've launched Segro: an iOS app to get statistics based on your calendar usage.

So far, I've almost reached 150 installs with a little blogging and spamming on Reddit.

I'm done with the spamming on Reddit! It doesn't feel sustainable.
I don't want to push the app through the throat of other people.
I want to help them and find the app as useful as I do.

The funny thing is that I am using the app a lot, but others are barely using it.
It makes me wonder: are there better solutions to the result I seek?
Or am I doing a bad job on explaining it and clarifying the benefits?

Anyways... people asked for the Android version.
Even though I'm not making any money, and the number don't look really promising, I want to help them.

So: I just launched the Android version.

Also worth to mention: I made 0 revenue (only 1 month a subscriber, a friend of mine. I don't count him).

Last but not least

Although the app is not used by many (yet?),
I still feel really energised!

My "high hopes" of 10.00+ installs in a year are down,
but my own usage and solving my own problems...
seeing it have a positive effect on my life...

It boosts me with energy!
Even though it only costs me money to make it publicly available (hosting/app store costs/domain name)

Anyhow... I just want to end this post by saying:

Even though it is not going how you initially hoped/dreamed of,
be proud of the steps you took and get energy of the path you dare to take.
