Snooty Builder: do the landing page and video work?

I'm really curious if it's clear what we do just from the landing page and video, so I won't give any context here: https://builder.snootysoftware.com/

I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback!

PS should we just move the FAQ to the main landing page? I can't decide...

Purpose of Snooty Builder is clear. Great service! I wouldn't move the FAQ in the main landing page because the landing page is already long enough. One think that I think needs improvement though, is the font size of the text underneath your selling points (predictable pricing, no vendor lock-in, learn, security, etc).

Also, it's not clear how I get your product.
Do I need to subscribe somewhere?
    Do I download it?
    Is it a SaaS?
Perhaps it would help visitors trust you more easily, if you could provide clear information as to how they can get your product/service

Thank you! I will take a look at that font size, good call.

It's a SaaS, but right now it's not live yet. We're trying to determine which features are necessary for an MVP that people would actually pay for. If you subscribe we'll let you know once it's live, and likely involve you in the direction we take.

You're right, that needs to be clear from the text. I'll think about the right wording and placement.

      Thanks again!

    Looks very cool.

I would build a template that users can login and test. That will give it the wow factor.

Thanks! A live demo is definitely on the roadmap!

I assume non-technical people will be your main clients...? if so, showing so many codes in back-forth could be escaped on the landing page and focused more on the no-code features.
The current landing page video could be linked for more details for technical features.

Right now we're looking at teams with both technical and non-technical contributors, such as rails consultancies. Since our ability to combine code with no code is basically our only USP, there's a pretty heavy focus on that right now.

Maybe we should have a landing page for non-technical people as well. Thanks for your response!

    Why isn't it responsive?

There was a super annoying CSS bug so we temporarily disabled it! The handful of people I asked said it worked well enough on mobile, and that we shouldn't postpone launching until it was fixed.

Thanks for the feedback, we'll have to reconsider.

I guess I could have been more complete in my thoughts as well--looks like a great solution.

My initial reaction was if I was looking at builder software that would also build non-responsive pages.

I did just pull it up on my iPad and that wasn't bad at all. It was just the phone use case where the benefits really got washed out.

I guess I'd be curious to see what data you have from Google analytics regarding new users and screen/os type data. If it was just one person on a phone, maybe it really doesn't matter.

Ah right, that makes sense. So far it mostly hasn't been phones, but I'll keep an eye on it. Kind of want to fix the bug anyway, the CSS framework is supposed to support it. Thanks again!
