Social media scheduling platform hits $2,000 MRR after 1.5 years.

$2,000 MRR in Stripe.

Today is a great day, that's been a long time coming.

My social media scheduling Pallyy has finally hit $2,000 MRR!! We've also grown 39% in the last month. 🥳

I've been working on Pallyy full-time for over 1.5 years now, and getting to this point hasn't been easy.

Here's a little background about how I got here:

Pallyy started as a Instagram analytics platform. I wanted to provide the best Instagram specific analytics around - which looking back limited Pallyy quite a lot. Everyone using analytics also wanted scheduling, and to be able to use other platforms like FB, Twitter etc.

We continued like this until the start of 2021, but hovered around $1,300-$1,500 MRR for around 6 months - which made it hard to keep motivated to keep the project going.

Earlier this year Instagram opened up their publishing API which meant I could finally add scheduling into my platform, which I did.

I tried to reach out to agencies & managers, but kept finding that for any of them to use Pallyy, I would also need to be able to schedule to the other big platforms.

Over the next 3-4 weeks, I applied to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Google My Business for approval to use their API's and at the same time integrated them into Pallyy. It wasn't easy - but at least it gave me a light at the end of the tunnel, I even had a few agencies that promised they would switch if I did integrate other platforms (let's see if they keep this promise!).

Now Pallyy is an all-in-one social media scheduling platform, with analytics, comments management, UGC tools, bio link & more. We support Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Google My Business!

Where to now?

Well, during this time I spent most of it building the product.

I'm not very good at marketing and haven't done much, so that's what I'll be focusing on now. I even bought the book sell like crazy which I hope gives me some better insights, and a better understanding of how to approach & get new users.

If you have any questions, or tips for how I can keep this growth going - I'd love to hear them!

Is the Publishing API open open, or do you need to pass app review?

You'll need to pass app review still.

Hi Tim, congratulations on the milestone and keeping up the motivation. How are agency knowing about Pallyy? What's your future growth plan?

      Thanks Shovan!

Mostly I've been finding agencies on Instagram, just through engaging with my followers and connections etc.

As for future growth, I guess I'm planning on doing the same - but spending more time on Twitter, Reddit, Quora and maybe even trying some paid ads on FB.

Great advice Tim. My produce Breeze is also targeting agencies. I will try instagram.

        Thanks

          What does Breeze do?

          1. 2

Brezze provides set of tools for Agency to manage websites.

When you own more than once website, remembering the environment detail, tech stack renuwal dates, top browsers ect can can become a overheard.

Breeze allows agency owners to share this information with their internal team and clients. It also has a chrome extension that help with day to web task. Such as clearing cookie with a click, checking website responsiveness etc.

P.s I am still figuring out value statememt, did that make sense?

            1. 2

Got it! I think you need to simplify the statement, it's a bit too much and is hard to understand.
